Synthesis Thesis — The Irrefutable Conclusion from Genesis to Revelation

THE DEITY OF CHRIST — LECTURE 18

Introduction: The Whole Bible Speaks One Truth

From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible is not a collection of disconnected writings.

It is one unified revelation

And at the center of that revelation is:

Jesus Christ

Throughout this study, we have examined:

  • Prophecy
  • Incarnation
  • Words of Christ
  • Works of Christ
  • Worship of Christ
  • Apostolic witness
  • Doctrinal declarations
  • Early church proclamation
  • Final judgment

Now, we bring everything together:

What is the final, unified conclusion of Scripture?

THESIS: The Entire Bible Testifies That Jesus Christ Is God

I. Genesis — The Promise Begins

Genesis 1:1 — “In the beginning God…”

Creation begins with God.

Yet later:

Genesis 3:15 — the promised seed

A coming Redeemer is introduced

Implication

From the beginning:

God is both Creator and Redeemer

II. The Prophets — The Messiah Is Declared as God

Isaiah 9:6
“…The mighty God…”

Micah 5:2
“…whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.”

The Messiah:

  • is called God
  • is eternal

III. The Incarnation — God Manifest in the Flesh

John 1:1 — “the Word was God”
John 1:14 — “the Word was made flesh”

Not a created being
Not a lesser being

But:

God revealed in human form

IV. The Ministry of Christ — Divine Identity Revealed

During His life:

  • Forgives sins
  • Commands nature
  • Raises the dead
  • Accepts worship

These are not human acts

These are divine works

V. The Cross — The Sacrifice of God

Acts 20:28
“…the church of God… purchased with his own blood.”

The sacrifice is not merely human

It is:

God giving Himself

VI. The Resurrection — Victory of Divine Power

Romans 1:4
“…declared to be the Son of God with power… by the resurrection…”

Death could not hold Him

Because:

He is God

VII. The Exaltation — Seated in Divine Authority

Hebrews 1:3
“…sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high…”

Not as a servant only

But as:

one sharing divine authority

VIII. The Apostolic Witness — Explicit Declaration

John 20:28 — “My Lord and my God”
Titus 2:13 — “the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ”

No ambiguity

Direct declaration

IX. The Church Proclamation — From the Beginning

In Acts:

  • Christ is Lord
  • Christ is Savior
  • Christ is prayed to

This is not later doctrine

This is original preaching

X. The Second Coming — The Return of the Divine Judge

Revelation 1:7 — “every eye shall see him”
Matthew 25:31 — “sit upon the throne of his glory”

He returns:

  • in glory
  • as Judge

Judgment belongs to God

Therefore:

He is God

FINAL DOCTRINAL STATEMENT

The Irrefutable Conclusion

From Genesis to Revelation:

  • The Messiah is declared God
  • The Word is God
  • The Word became flesh
  • Christ acts as God
  • Christ is worshipped
  • Christ is called God
  • Christ possesses the fullness of God
  • Christ is proclaimed as God
  • Christ returns as God

Therefore:

Jesus Christ is fully God, eternally existing, the Creator, the Redeemer, the Judge, worthy of all worship, and the only Savior.

POLEMIC: No Neutral Ground Remains

At this point:

There are only two options:

❌   Reject the Testimony of Scripture

Or

✅   Accept the Full Revelation

There is no middle ground

Any doctrine that says:

  • “Jesus is only a man”
  • “Jesus is created”
  • “Jesus is lesser”

Must reject:

  • multiple passages
  • consistent testimony
  • unified revelation

Therefore:

All such doctrines are false

APOLOGETIC: The Strength of the Conclusion

This conclusion stands because:

  • It is not based on one verse
  • It is not based on one book

It is based on:

the entire Bible

No contradiction
No inconsistency

Only confirmation

SPIRITUAL APPLICATION: The Final Question

This is no longer academic.

This is personal

The Question Is Not:

“Who do others say Jesus is?”

The Question Is:

Who do YOU say that He is?

Matthew 16:15

Because:

  • If He is not God → He cannot save
  • If He is God → He demands your faith

FINAL CONCLUSION: The Testimony That Cannot Be Broken

The entire Scripture declares one truth:

From the first page to the last

From creation to judgment

Jesus Christ is God

Final Statement:

The Deity of Christ is not a doctrine built on fragments—it is the unified, irrefutable testimony of the entire Word of God.

I. Genesis — Nagsimula sa Dios

Genesis 1:1 — “Nang pasimula ay nilikha ng Dios…”

Ngunit:

Genesis 3:15 — may ipinangakong binhi

Isang paparating na Manunubos ay ipinakilala.

Ibig sabihin:

Ang Dios na Manlilikha—Siya rin ang Manunubos

II. Mga Propeta — Ang Mesiyas ay Dios

Isaias 9:6 — “…Makapangyarihang Dios…”
Mikas 5:2 — “…mula sa walang pasimula…”

Ang darating:

  • tinawag na Dios
  • walang hanggan

III. Ang Pagkakatawang-tao — Dios Nahahayag sa Laman

Juan 1:1 — “…ang Verbo ay Dios”
Juan 1:14 — “…nagkatawang-tao…”

Hindi nilikha
Hindi mas mababa

Kundi:

Dios na nahayag bilang tao

IV. Buhay ni Cristo — Ipinakita ang Pagka-Dios

Habang Siya ay nasa lupa:

  • nagpatawad ng kasalanan
  • nag-utos sa kalikasan
  • bumuhay ng patay
  • tumanggap ng pagsamba

Hindi ito gawa ng tao

Ito ay gawa ng Dios

V. Ang Krus — Ang Hain ng Dios

Mga Gawa 20:28
“…iglesia ng Dios… binili ng kaniyang sariling dugo…”

Hindi lamang tao ang namatay

Kundi:

Dios ang nagbigay ng Kaniyang sarili

VI.

Dios

VII. Ang Pagdakila (Exaltation)  — Lumuklok sa Kanan ng Karangalan sa Kaitaasan

Hebreo 1:3 — “…lumuklok sa kanan ng Karangalan…”

Hindi bilang lingkod

Kundi:

Bilang may kapamahalaan ng Dios

VIII. Patotoo ng mga Apostol — Tahasang Deklarasyon

Juan 20:28 — “Panginoon ko at Dios ko”
Tito 2:13 — “dakilang Dios at Tagapagligtas…”

Direktang sinabi

Walang paliwanag na kailangan

IX. Pangangaral ng Iglesia — Mula pa sa Simula

Sa Mga Gawa:

  • tinawag Siyang Panginoon
  • pinanalanginan
  • ipinangaral bilang Tagapagligtas

Hindi ito bagong aral

Ito ang unang ipinangaral

X. Ang Ikalawang Pagparito — Ang Pagbabalik ng Banal na Hukom

Apocalipsis 1:7 — “makikita ng bawa’t mata…”
Mateo 25:31 — “uupo sa kaniyang luklukan…”

Siya ay babalik:

  • sa kaluwalhatian
  • bilang Hukom

Ang humahatol ay Dios

Kaya:

Siya ay Dios

ANG HULING PAHAYAG NG DOKTRINA

Ang Hindi Matitinag na Konklusyon

Mula Genesis hanggang Apocalipsis:

 POLEMIC: Wala Nang Gitnang Pagpipilian

Sa puntong ito:

Dalawa na lang ang pagpipilian:

❌   Itanggi ang buong Biblia

O

✅   Tanggapin ang buong katotohanan

Walang gitna

Ang magsabi na:

  • “Tao lang si Jesus”
  • “Nilikhang nilalang Siya”
  • “Mas mababa Siya”

ay kailangang itanggi ang:

  • maraming talata
  • iisang mensahe
  • buong Kasulatan

Kaya:

Lahat ng ganitong aral ay mali

APOLOGETIC: Bakit Hindi Ito Matitinag

Ang konklusyong ito ay matibay dahil:

  • hindi ito galing sa isang talata
  • hindi ito galing sa isang aklat

Ito ay galing sa:

buong Biblia

Walang contradiction
Walang kahinaan

Iisang patotoo

PRAKTIKAL NA APLIKASYON: IKAW ANG SASAGOT

Hindi na ito teorya.

Ito ay personal

Hindi na tanong:

“Ano ang sinasabi ng iba?”

Ang tanong:

Sino si Jesus para sa iyo?

Mateo 16:15

Dahil:

Kung hindi Siya Dios:

  • hindi Siya makapagliligtas

Kung Siya ay Dios:

  • kailangan mong sumampalataya

PANGWAKAS: Ang Patotoong Hindi Mababasag

Mula unang pahina hanggang huli:

Iisang mensahe

Iisang katotohanan

Si Jesucristo ay Dios

Panghuling pahayag:

Ang pagka-Dios ni Cristo ay hindi piraso-pirasong aral—ito ay iisang, buo, at hindi matitinag na patotoo ng buong Salita ng Dios.

The Origin and Error of “Once Saved, Always Saved” (OSAS): A Biblical Exposé

English 🇵🇭 Tagalog The Origin and Error of “Once Saved, Always Saved” (OSAS) A Biblical Exposé An Authoritative Study Using the King James Bible Introduction: A Question of Eternal Security The doctrine of Once Saved, Always Saved (OSAS) asserts that once a person is saved, they can never lose their salvation, regardless of future behavior, apostasy, or rebellion. It is often linked with the phrase “eternal security” in Protestant theology. This study examines the origin, evaluates the biblical claims, and provides a full refutation using only the Scripture as the final and only authority. I. Historical Roots of OSAS (A Brief Context) Though many today assume OSAS to be an apostolic doctrine, its systematized form arose from John Calvin's doctrine of Perseverance of the Saints (TULIP), later popularized by Baptist theologians like Charles Stanley and modern evangelical churches. However, early church fathers such as Tertullian, Orige...

The Promise and Importance of Christ’s Church

English 🇵🇭 Tagalog     Next ⟶ The Promise and Importance of Christ’s Church "And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." — Matthew 16:18 (KJV) Introduction The Church of Christ is not a product of human invention or denominational evolution. It is the fulfillment of a divine promise — a structure built not by human hands, but by the Lord Himself. In a time when religious confusion is widespread and thousands of conflicting churches exist, we must return to the simple, authoritative statement of Jesus: “I will build my church.” (Matt. 16:18) These words mark the beginning of a divine blueprint. This was not a vague intention, nor a mystical concept. Jesus was referring to a real, identifiable, and traceable body of people — the church — that He Himself would build, own, and preserve. “I Will Build My Church” — A Divine Dec...

Grace, Faith, and Works

English 🇵🇭 Tagalog Grace, Faith, And Works A Biblical Exegesis Of Ephesians 2:8–10 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” – Ephesians 2:8–10 I. Introduction: Why This Study Matters Now More Than Ever In a religious world increasingly divided by theological confusion and denominational doctrines, few passages are more quoted yet more misunderstood than Ephesians 2:8–10 : “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” While this passage declares foundational truths about salvation, it has been misappropria...

Restoration Movement: The Illusion of Rebuilding What God Preserved

English 🇵🇭 Tagalog There Is Nothing to Restore — Just Preach the Gospel A Doctrinal Exposition Affirming the Ongoing Existence and Perfection of God’s Church Introduction In recent centuries, many sincere believers have spoken of a "restoration movement"—the idea that the true church was lost to history and must now be recovered or re-established. But is this concept biblical? Does Scripture ever indicate that the church built by Christ (Matthew 16:18) would vanish, become corrupted, and need a future restoration? The answer, as revealed in the inspired Word of God, is  no . What God  planned before the foundation of the world  (Ephesians 3:9–11), what Christ  purchased with His own blood  (Acts 20:28), and what was  established in power on Pentecost  (Acts 2),  continues to exist today . While men may depart from the truth, the truth remains. And what we are called to do is not to restore, but to  pre...

WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?

English 🇵🇭 Tagalog What Must I Do To Be Saved? A Doctrinal Study in Biblical Salvation THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION YOU MUST ASK — AND GOD HAS ALREADY ANSWERED IT There is no question more urgent, more eternal, and more personal than this: “What must I do to be saved?” This question is not a modern invention — it is already found in the New Testament , asked by real people in real moments of conviction, and answered by the Holy Spirit through the apostles of Jesus Christ. This means every truth-seeker today must stop looking elsewhere for answers. God has already spoken. His answer is final. His plan is clear. If the whole world knew God’s answer to this question, no one would be lost. So if what you’ve heard about salvation differs from what the Bible teaches — leave that group, that preacher, or that tradition immediately. “ If anyone preaches another gospel… let him be accursed. ” (Galatians 1:8–9) Are you ready to hear the real answer from...

The Church Built By Jesus Christ In The New testament - Lesson 1

English 🇵🇭 Tagalog ⟵ Previous Next ⟶ Lesson 1: The Church Planned by God Before the Creation of the Universe Key Passage: Ephesians 3:9–11 “ And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: ” Introduction The concept of the church is often misunderstood—even among believers. To many, it appears to be an afterthought, a temporary institution until Christ returns, or merely a human denomination among many. But the Scriptures teach otherwise. The church was not an accident. It was not a substitute for a failed plan. It was not an invention of man. It was part of God's eternal purpose , rooted i...

“Jesus Called Us Brethren”

English 🇵🇭 Tagalog "Go and Tell My brethren" Text: “Then Jesus said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. Go and tell My brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see Me.’” - Matthew 28:10 I. Introduction: The Significance of the Word "Brethren" After His glorious resurrection, Jesus could have referred to His disciples with any term—“servants,” “students,” or “followers.” But He chose the word “brethren.” This word carries weight. It reflects forgiveness, restored fellowship, and most importantly, a shared relationship with the Father. Why does Jesus now call His disciples brethren? What does that mean for us today? And how did we become worthy of such a name? II. Context and Background Let’s recall that before the crucifixion, His disciples deserted Him in fear (Matthew 26:56). Peter even denied Him three times. They failed Him at His darkest hour. Yet, after rising from the grave, Jesus doesn’t rebuke them—He calls them “My b...
