“For Now I Know” — God’s Response to Faith With Works

English 🇵🇭 Tagalog Sermon: “ For Now I Know ” — God’s Response To Faith With Works Text: Genesis 22:12 God’s Words Are For Us, Not For Him Brethren, when we read, “for now I know that thou fearest God,” we must remember that God did not write the Scriptures for Himself—He wrote them for us (Romans 15:4; 2 Timothy 3:16). The Lord has always been all-knowing (Psalm 139:1–4; Isaiah 46:10). He knew Abraham’s heart before Abraham even moved. But God chose to phrase it this way—“for now I know”—to communicate something to us. It is not that God gained new knowledge, but that He demonstrated in a way we can understand that true faith is proven by obedience.   Faith Is Only Real When It Acts Notice, brethren, Abraham was already a man of faith before Genesis 22. Hebrews 11:8 says he obeyed when he was called to go out. But here, his faith reached its highest test—offering Isaac, his only son. Faith alone in the mind would not have satisfied God. James ...

The Church Built By Jesus Christ In The New testament - Lesson 3

English 🇵🇭 Tagalog ⟵ Previous Next ⟶ Lesson 3: Entrance to the Church Key Passages: Acts 2:47; 1 Corinthians 12:13 Acts 2:47 — “ Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved .” 1 Corinthians 12:13 — “ For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit .” Introduction In a world where church membership often means joining a group by signing a form or attending a service, the biblical truth about how one enters the church is often misunderstood—or ignored altogether. The New Testament teaches that no man joins the church —rather, the Lord adds the saved to it. This lesson explores the divine sequence of salvation and how it results in entrance into the one body , the church of Christ. Historical Context The events of Acts 2 took place on ...

They Desired A Better Country

English 🇵🇭 Tagalog They Desired A Better Country Text: Hebrews 11:15–16 15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. 16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city. 1. INTRODUCTION Picture a traveler who leaves his homeland, not because it was easy, but because God called him. Along the way, he sees the glitter of worldly kingdoms, the comfort of old life, and the lure of “going back.” He has the chance to return — but he refuses. Why? Because his eyes are fixed on something far greater — “a better country, that is, an heavenly.” This is the story of the faithful in Hebrews 11. It’s the choice of Abraham, Moses, and every true Christian — to forsake the temporary offers of this world for the eternal city prepared by God. The theme today: We must resist ...

WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?

English 🇵🇭 Tagalog What Must I Do To Be Saved? A Doctrinal Study in Biblical Salvation THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION YOU MUST ASK — AND GOD HAS ALREADY ANSWERED IT There is no question more urgent, more eternal, and more personal than this: “What must I do to be saved?” This question is not a modern invention — it is already found in the New Testament , asked by real people in real moments of conviction, and answered by the Holy Spirit through the apostles of Jesus Christ. This means every truth-seeker today must stop looking elsewhere for answers. God has already spoken. His answer is final. His plan is clear. If the whole world knew God’s answer to this question, no one would be lost. So if what you’ve heard about salvation differs from what the Bible teaches — leave that group, that preacher, or that tradition immediately. “ If anyone preaches another gospel… let him be accursed. ” (Galatians 1:8–9) Are you ready to hear the real answer from...
