English 🇵🇭 Tagalog “Be Thou Faithful Unto Death” (Revelation 2:10) A Command from the Lord Himself Brethren, these are not just words of encouragement. They are the marching orders of our only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords , Jesus Christ. Revelation 2:10 says, “Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.” This was spoken to the church in Smyrna, a congregation under pressure, persecution, and poverty. The Lord did not promise them escape from suffering — He promised them life if they would remain faithful, even if faithfulness meant death. Notice, it does not say, “Be faithful until you get tired.” It does not say, “Be faithful until you are old.” It says, unto death . Brethren, that means faithfulness for the rest of our lives, whatever comes. No pause button.
