“I The LORD Will Hasten It In His Time”

(Isaiah 60:22)

God’s Timing Is Always Perfect

Brethren and friends, hear the Word of the Lord: “I the LORD will hasten it in his time” (Isa. 60:22). What a promise! The word hasten means to make it happen quickly, to bring it to pass without delay when the right time comes. It does not mean God is slow, nor that He has forgotten. It means His clock is not like ours. “One day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day” (2 Pet. 3:8). He is never late. He is never early. He is always on time.

The God Who Keeps His Word

Think about the promise of a Savior. From the moment man sinned, God spoke of One to come — “the seed of the woman” (Gen. 3:15). Centuries passed. Nations rose and fell. Prophets preached and were rejected. Yet, when the right moment came, Paul says, “But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son” (Gal. 4:4). Brethren, if God kept that promise in His time, do you doubt He will keep the promises yet before us? He said Christ would come the first time, and He did. He says Christ will come the second time — and He will.

God’s Time Is Not Our Time

You may be waiting for answers in your life. Maybe your prayers seem unheard. Maybe you think God has forgotten you. Brethren, He has not. The Lord said, “I will hasten it in his time.” Not your time. Not my time. His time. He knows when you are ready. He knows what will glorify Him best. “Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart” (Ps. 27:14). Do not give up. Do not grow weary. Trust His timing, for He makes all things beautiful in His time (Eccl. 3:11).

When God’s Time Comes, Nothing Can Stop It

Look again at the text. The LORD Himself says, “I will hasten it.” Who can hinder the Almighty? When the appointed time arrived for Israel to leave Egypt, no Pharaoh could hold them back. When the day of Pentecost was fully come, not even the unbelief of men could prevent the outpouring of the Spirit and the establishment of Christ’s church (Acts 2:1–4, 47). When Christ returns, no scoffer, no skeptic, no atheist, no hypocrite will delay Him one second. “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout” (1 Thess. 4:16).

The Urgency of God’s Time for You

But brethren, here is where it pierces the heart: God’s time for you is not endless. The prophet said, “Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near” (Isa. 55:6). There is a window of mercy — but it will not stay open forever. Felix trembled under Paul’s preaching and said, “Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee” (Acts 24:25). That convenient season never came. How many souls today are waiting for a “better time” — not knowing that God’s time is now?

Now Is the Accepted Time

Hear the apostle Paul: “Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation” (2 Cor. 6:2). Not tomorrow. Not next week. Today. God says, “I will hasten it in his time” — and His time for your soul’s salvation is now. Will you harden your heart, or will you obey while the door of grace is open?

The Call to Obedience

Brethren and friends, what must you do? The same answer was given in Acts 2:37–38, when men, cut to the heart, asked, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?” The reply was clear: “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.” That is how the Lord adds you to His church (Acts 2:41, 47). That is how you pass from death to life.

And to you, brethren already in Christ: if you have drifted, if sin has crept in, if you have been waiting to “get serious later” — God is telling you, later may never come. His time is now. Repent, confess, and return to Him, for He is faithful and just to forgive (1 John 1:9).

Conclusion: His Time Will Come — Are You Ready?

The day is coming when God will hasten the final act of history. The trumpet will sound. The dead will rise. Judgment will be set. “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ” (2 Cor. 5:10). Brethren, that day will not delay. The question is not if it comes, but when. And when it does, will you be ready?

The Lord says, “I the LORD will hasten it in his time.” His time may be today. Will you obey Him now?

Invitation:

  • If you believe that Jesus is the Christ, repent of your sins, confess Him before men, and be baptized into His death that you may rise to new life (Rom. 6:3–4).
  • If you are already a Christian but have grown cold, repent and return. Do not delay.

Brethren, His time is sure. His promise is true. The question that remains is: Will you be ready when He hastens it?

“Akong Panginoon, Ay Papapangyarihin Kong Madali Sa Kapanahunan”

(Isaias 60:22)

Magsisi, ipahayag, at magbalik-loob sapagkat Siya’y tapat at banal upang magpatawad (1 Juan 1:9).

The Origin and Error of “Once Saved, Always Saved” (OSAS): A Biblical Exposé

English 🇵🇭 Tagalog The Origin and Error of “Once Saved, Always Saved” (OSAS) A Biblical Exposé An Authoritative Study Using the King James Bible Introduction: A Question of Eternal Security The doctrine of Once Saved, Always Saved (OSAS) asserts that once a person is saved, they can never lose their salvation, regardless of future behavior, apostasy, or rebellion. It is often linked with the phrase “eternal security” in Protestant theology. This study examines the origin, evaluates the biblical claims, and provides a full refutation using only the Scripture as the final and only authority. I. Historical Roots of OSAS (A Brief Context) Though many today assume OSAS to be an apostolic doctrine, its systematized form arose from John Calvin's doctrine of Perseverance of the Saints (TULIP), later popularized by Baptist theologians like Charles Stanley and modern evangelical churches. However, early church fathers such as Tertullian, Orige...

The Promise and Importance of Christ’s Church

English 🇵🇭 Tagalog     Next ⟶ The Promise and Importance of Christ’s Church "And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." — Matthew 16:18 (KJV) Introduction The Church of Christ is not a product of human invention or denominational evolution. It is the fulfillment of a divine promise — a structure built not by human hands, but by the Lord Himself. In a time when religious confusion is widespread and thousands of conflicting churches exist, we must return to the simple, authoritative statement of Jesus: “I will build my church.” (Matt. 16:18) These words mark the beginning of a divine blueprint. This was not a vague intention, nor a mystical concept. Jesus was referring to a real, identifiable, and traceable body of people — the church — that He Himself would build, own, and preserve. “I Will Build My Church” — A Divine...

Restoration Movement: The Illusion of Rebuilding What God Preserved

English 🇵🇭 Tagalog There Is Nothing to Restore — Just Preach the Gospel A Doctrinal Exposition Affirming the Ongoing Existence and Perfection of God’s Church Introduction In recent centuries, many sincere believers have spoken of a "restoration movement"—the idea that the true church was lost to history and must now be recovered or re-established. But is this concept biblical? Does Scripture ever indicate that the church built by Christ (Matthew 16:18) would vanish, become corrupted, and need a future restoration? The answer, as revealed in the inspired Word of God, is  no . What God  planned before the foundation of the world  (Ephesians 3:9–11), what Christ  purchased with His own blood  (Acts 20:28), and what was  established in power on Pentecost  (Acts 2),  continues to exist today . While men may depart from the truth, the truth remains. And what we are called to do is not to restore, but to  pre...

The Church Built By Jesus Christ In The New testament - Lesson 1

English 🇵🇭 Tagalog ⟵ Previous Next ⟶ Lesson 1: The Church Planned by God Before the Creation of the Universe Key Passage: Ephesians 3:9–11 “ And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: ” Introduction The concept of the church is often misunderstood—even among believers. To many, it appears to be an afterthought, a temporary institution until Christ returns, or merely a human denomination among many. But the Scriptures teach otherwise. The church was not an accident. It was not a substitute for a failed plan. It was not an invention of man. It was part of God's eternal purpose , rooted i...

The Deathblow to OSAS

Some claim, “Once Saved, Always Saved” (OSAS)—but what if one simple question from Paul demolishes that doctrine entirely? In  Romans 6:1-2 , the apostle confronts the dangerous logic that grace gives license to sin. His answer is sharp, unshakable, and Spirit-inspired.
